FreeFileSync

FreeFileSync is an open-source and free backup software, allow you to backup your data in the way that suits you best.
Indeed, FreeFileSync is very powerful, flexible, multiplatform and multilingual (33 languages).

Among all the features offered by FreeFileSync you will find :

• local synchronization and synchronization over the network : synchronization between hard drives, synchronization with network shares, ...
• synchronization with mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, ...)
• detection of moved files/folders
• different comparison and synchronization methods, ...
• the ability to exclude folders and/or files from the backup process

FreeFileSync is available in 2 editions :

• the free version which will suggest an advertising software to install. But, just uncheck it to not install it.
• the "Donors Edition" version for those who donate. In this case, you can download the installation file without the adware.

Finally, note that it's also possible to have an automatic synchronization by using the "RealTimeSync" shortcut which will appear on your desktop at the end of the installation.
