Nero InfoTool

Nero InfoTool is a free tool developed by Nero to know all the necessary information about your CD/DVD drive and/or burner.

This program will provide you with various information on compatible CD/DVD, the information about the inserted CD/DVD ...

In the "Drive" tab you will find the following information :
- Types of compatible CDs : CD-R, CD-RW, ... read and/or write
- Types of compatible DVDs : DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-R DL (Dual Layer), ... read and/or write
- Types of compatible HD DVDs : HD DVD-R, HD DVD-RW, HD DVD-RAM, ... read and/or write
- Types of compatible BD : BD-R, BD-RE, BD-R DL, ... read and/or write
- The general functions of your player/burner : Protections and others.
- Writing modes : TAO (Track at once), DAO (Disc at once), ...
- The region code of your DVD player and the remaining number of possible changes. (1 = Canada, USA, ... | 2 = Europe, ... | Etc.)

In the "Disc" tab you will find information about the CD or DVD inserted into your CD/DVD drive :
- The type of disc inserted
- Its capacity
- The number of tracks it owns
- The number of sessions in it (for multisession CDs)
- The available space
- The manufacturer id
- The status of the disk
- Its file system
- His title
- It's date
- Its author
- The application used

Other tabs of the program allow you to retrieve information about your system, its drivers, ...
