5. Cashback added to your Familycard account

On the Familycard website you will see that a new notification has appeared.
As you can see, a number of points have been added to your Familycard account for your purchase at MediaMarkt.

You can also see the addition of these points by going to the "My purchases" menu.

Important : as you can see, the status of the points that have been added to your Familycard account is "Under approval" (for now).

However, you can see that our previous purchases at MediaMarkt (and other partner sites) have always been approved.

If you hover over the small "i" located to the right of "Under approval", Familcard will inform you that this approval can take on average 41 days (for purchases at MediaMarkt).
This is due to the approval period imposed by the affiliate platforms before validating the commission that Familycard can obtain following your purchase. Familycard therefore waits for the commission to be validated in its case on the affiliate platform used (in this case: Tradedoubler) to validate your cashback in your Familycard account.

On your email address, you will quickly receive an email (the same day) "Wohoo! Your purchase at MediaMarkt has been registered".

Warning : as stated in this email you received from Familycard, the points are only added and Familycard will inform you as soon as MediaMarkt has approved the transaction.

6. Recover the money saved with Familycard

Once you have saved at least €25 with Familycard, go to the "Redeem your points" menu.

On this page, you will find the number of approved points and the number of points under approval (including purchases that are not yet validated, such as the one from MediaMarkt currently).

Once you reach €25 (2500 approved points), you can request a €25 payment on Familycard.

7. Cashback for MediaMarkt validated on Familycard

More than a month later (in theory 41 days, but it can be more or less long depending on the timing and responsiveness of the affiliate platform used by FamilyCard for your purchases at MediaMarkt), you will finally receive an email "Yes! Your discount at MediaMarkt has been approved!".
As you can see, in our case, we can see that our discount at MediaMarkt from 06/01/2025 has just been approved.
If you look at the date of this email, you will see that we received it on 03/03/2025 (which is about 2 months later). But the main thing is that the cashback is validated.

If you log in to the Familycard website again, you will see a notification "Yes! Your MediaMarkt discount from 06/01/2025 has just been approved".

To see this approved purchase, simply go to the "My Purchases" menu.

As expected, our purchase at MediaMarkt on 06/01/2025 was approved.

8. Familycard is a reliable cashback site

To prove the seriousness of this site, here are 2 screenshots of our payment proofs.

In our Familycard account, you can see that we have already requested a payment of €25 (2500 points) at the end of 2023 and that its status is "Approved".

And you can see a copy of the €25 bank transfer sent by Familycard that we received on our bank account.

So you can save money on your purchases at MediaMarkt and other Belgian online sites without any problems and get this money back on your bank account without worries.
