KeePass is a free open-source program that allows you to store all your passwords in an encrypted file safe from hackers. Currently, KeePass uses AES encryption algorithms and Twofish which are the best and most secure encryption algorithms that currently exist.
With this small program you can use safe passwords (at least 8 characters, letters, numbers, special characters, ...) and different for each site where you are registered.
Thus, in case of hacking of a website, all your other accounts will be safe.
For those who like simplicity, know that this program is very simple to use and can even be linked with your favorite web browsers through extensions and/or plugins.
For this, read our tutorial "KeePass - Store your passwords securely".
It's also possible to download plugins and additional languages on the official website of KeePass :
Finally, note that KeePass has been awarded and recommended by many sites, including the security of the National Agency of Information Systems, ANSSI.
