Connect to a Wifi network on Windows 8 or 8.1

This tutorial show you how to connect to a Wifi network on Windows 8 or 8.1.

To begin, click on the icon Wifi not connected, then click the Wifi network you want to connect.

Note : If your Wifi network is hidden, Windows will show you under the name "Hidden Network".

If you try to connect to a hidden network, Windows will ask you to specify the network name (SSID).
Otherwise, this step will not appear.

Then enter the key network security (WEP or WPA key ...).

Windows will then attempt to connect to the desired wireless network and then asks if you want to enable file sharing, ...
As indicated by Windows 8 or 8.1, file sharing, ... is recommended for home networks (home), but not for public networks (internet cafe, hotspot, ...).

Once connected, the word "Connected" will appear next to the WiFi network you are connected to.
You will also notice that the icon in the taskbar appearance changed : Wifi connected
