9. Remove permission for Acronis added in your Microsoft account

Previously, when you added your Microsoft account to the "Acronis Cloud" site, you had to authorize the "Backup Service" application developed by Acronis to allow Acronis Cloud to access your Microsoft account (your emails, OneDrive files, ...).

Since you have removed your Microsoft account from the Acronis Cloud site, it is recommended to also remove the authorization that is no longer needed and that is still present in your Microsoft account.

9.1. Manage apps allowed on your Microsoft account (from the notification email)

To manage the applications authorized in your Microsoft account, the quickest way is to use the automatic notification email that you received from the "Microsoft Accounts Team".

If you still have this email, simply click the "Manage your applications" button there.

Note that the Microsoft site will ask you for your password again, because you are trying to access your Microsoft account settings.

Then, you will arrive at the "Allowed Applications and Services" page where you will see the "Backup Service" application.

9.2. Manage apps allowed on your Microsoft account (from your Microsoft account settings)

If you no longer have the notification email you received previously, then click on the icon at the top right (with your initials), then on the "My Microsoft account" link.

Since you are trying to access your Microsoft account settings, you will be prompted for your Microsoft account password again for security reasons.

You will arrive at the "Microsoft Account" page, whose domain is currently "account.microsoft.com".

On this page, locate and expand the "Privacy" section, then click the "Apps and services allowed to access your data" link there.

You will arrive at the "Authorized applications and services" page.

9.3. Remove permission granted to Acronis present in your Microsoft account

Now that you are on the "Allowed applications and services" page, click on the "Edit" link of the "Backup Service" application (developed by Acronis) located there.

As you can see, the site of this application "Backup Service" is "www.acronis.com".
At the bottom of the page, click on the button "Remove these permissions".

As expected, this "Backup Service" application will disappear from the list of applications and services authorized on your Microsoft account.
