As you can see, at the moment we have a "Downloads" folder that is synced to our Acronis Cloud account.

To remove synchronization from this "Downloads" folder, go to the "Synchronization" section of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image).
Then, click the arrow to the right of this folder and then click "Delete".

As Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) tells you, this deletion only concerns the synchronization process and the files in the source folder (on your computer) will be preserved.
Click Delete anyway.
Are you sure you want to delete the sync?

The folder to be synchronized has disappeared from the "Synchronization" section of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image).

On the other hand, on Acronis Cloud, it is possible that the synchronized folder and its contents still appear (despite the warning from Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) indicating that the data present on the Cloud would be deleted following the deletion of the synchronization).

Once the sync is removed, you will find the original icons in Windows File Explorer.
The blue and green icons regarding Acronis data synchronization will be gone.

Although the folder synchronized by Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) should have been automatically deleted on Acronis Cloud (as indicated in the warning that Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) had shown you when deleting the synchronization), it is possible that it still appears on Acronis Cloud (even if you wait several tens of minutes).
In short, to free up disk space on Acronis Cloud and permanently delete this copy of your data present in the Cloud, click on the right part of this synchronized folder.

Then, click on the "Delete" link.

In the "Delete Archive" popup that appears, click the "Delete" button.

As expected, the synced folder disappears from Acronis Cloud.
And since this was the only folder synced to Acronis Cloud in our case, we can see the message "There is no sync in the Cloud yet" appear.

Note that files that were stored locally on your computer will obviously be preserved.
