7. Restore your computer from an online backup (Acronis Cloud)

If you wish, you can restore your computer using your backups stored online on Acronis Cloud.
To do this, the technique is almost the same except that you will select "Restore from: Acronis Cloud" in the "Restore" tab.

Then, wait a few seconds while the versions available online are loaded on your Acronis account for this computer and select the desired version.

Finally, simply click the "Restore" button.

Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) will ask you to restart your computer before it can start restoring it.
Click "Restart".

Please wait while your computer restarts.

Please wait while your computer is restored from the backup on Acronis Cloud.

Once the restore from Acronis Cloud is complete, your computer will restart and perform a new quick backup of it (as after any restore, whether it is a local or cloud backup).
Once the quick backup is complete, it will be validated.

In the "Activity" tab, you will see the message "Successfully restored to original location" appear.

Once the quick backup is done and validated, you will see the message "The backup is valid" appear in the "Backup" tab.

Then, Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) will replicate this small backup to Acronis Cloud and the message "Replication completed successfully" will appear in the "Replica" tab.

In the "Activity" tab, you will now see that the quick backup has been performed and validated.
You will also see the message "Replication successfully completed to Acronis Cloud" appear in the "Activity" tab.

If you go to the "Restore" tab, you will see that a new version has appeared for the local storage (in our case "D:\").

If you select "Recover from: Acronis Cloud", you will see that this new version is also available online.

To view the backup created in the Cloud, simply go to the "Account" section of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (True Image) again, then click on the "Browse my data" link in the "Acronis Cloud Storage" section.

You will arrive in your Acronis Cloud account where you will see that the size and date of your backup have changed.

In this backup, the new version appears with today's date.

If you double-click on the last backup in the list, its contents appear.
