In the "All Programs -> HW Info" section of the start menu, you will find several programs to know or test the stability of your hardware:
If you run the "BatteryMon" program on a laptop, you can monitor your battery usage and charge level.
The "BurnInTest" software allows you to test the stability of your computer by testing your processor (CPU), your RAM, your hard drive, your network, ...
With the "Core Temp" software, you can obtain information about your processor.
Such as: its model, its platform, its frequency, its number of cores, its temperature, ...
The "CPU-Z" software is a well-known software that allows you to obtain detailed information about your processor (CPU), motherboard, RAM sticks, ...
The "Geeks3D FurMark" software allows you to test the stability of your computer and more specifically of your graphics card.
The "TechPowerUp GPU-Z" software is a well-known software that allows you to get detailed information about your graphics card.
HD Tune software allows you to obtain information regarding the features supported by your disks (SSD / hard drive).
But also to know the health of your hard drive thanks to the S.M.A.R.T. information that is visible in the "Health" tab.
Note: in our case, we used this software in a virtual machine, hence the fact that nothing appears in our case.
HWMonitor is a software that allows you to quickly see the current, minimum and maximum values (such as temperature, usage percentage, speed and frequency) for your CPU, disks, graphics card, network card and motherboard.
HWiNFO allows you to get information about your processor, motherboard, RAM, and graphics card.
The "KeyboardTest" software allows you to test all the keys on your keyboard to verify that they are all working properly.
The "System Information" tool (in Windows) allows you to obtain information about Windows, but also about your processor, your BIOS and many devices (CD-ROM, sound, display, network, ...) of your computer.
OCCT is a tool that allows you to test the stability of your computer by stressing mainly your processor and your random access memory (RAM).
QuickMemoryTestOK is a software that will allow you to test your RAM.
It is therefore a free alternative to Memtest software and can be used from Windows. Unlike Memtest which runs outside of Windows.
Speccy is a free software created by Piriform (author of Ccleaner) that allows you to obtain detailed information about your system, including your operating system, processor, RAM, graphics card, ...
SSD-Z is a software that allows you to get detailed information about your SSDs.
With SSD-Z, you can also know the health of your SSD thanks to the "S.M.A.R.T." information.
You will also be able to see the partitions of your disks (including hard drives) and easily identify system partitions (eg: EFI system partition, Microsoft reserved partition, ...).
TechPowerUp MemTest64 is a software that will allow you to test your RAM from a graphical interface.
TestMem5 is another software to test your RAM.
UserDiag is a software that will allow you to try to resolve problems that you may encounter with your computer.
WizTree is a software that will allow you to easily find where the large data is located on your disk.
Which is very useful to quickly make space on your disks when you do not know in advance what is taking up so much space on them.
